Today in Alabama we will learn if the voters in that state can be bought or intimidated into becoming defacto swamp creatures. With one of Mr. Moore’s primary accusers story falling apart, with liberals threatening to reveal who voted for who and punish those who voted incorrectly and the latest racist mailer sent out by the mysterious Highway 31group, I suspect that voters will disavow the typical liberal tactics of fear, intimidation and division and send a highly capable and imminently qualified man to the senate. This is as it should be.
Not even the last minute injection of questionable money by spoiler wannabe Evan McMuffin will stop the righteous and honorable Mr. Moore.
Even so the swamp is wide and deep, extending two thirds of the way across the United States to infect even my home state of Utah.
Swamp dwellers like or current governor Gary Herbert, Senator Hatch, and even my representative Mia Love, have all called for Mr. Moore to step down. Even the usually reliable Mike Lee utterly failed on this issue. Their calls for removal pale in comparison to the tripe uttered by Utah’s own homeboy Mitt “the Massachusetts wonder kid” Romney.
Romney, the ultimate swamp dweller, rich, connected and completely controlled by the RNC donor class, had some harsh words concerning Mr. Moore. Apparently the American concept of innocent until proven guilty only applies now to swamp dwellers like him. One can’t help but wonder, if the swamp dwellers are so willing to sacrifice one deeply help American ideal, what other deeply held American ideals will be dispensed with should the politically correct reason arise?
Will it be freedom of speech because hateful moslems demand it?
Will it be the very concept of American citizenship because illegal aliens don’t want to be “offended”?
Will it be the God given right to keep what is yours because some lazy drug addict “needs” your car, house, money?
Will it be that pesky 4th amendment thing because the government needs to know who to punish for incorrect thinking?
Will it be the right to own firearms because criminals need safer working environments?
Will it be the right to vote, via the Electoral College, because only the votes of liberal controlled coasts and mega cities really need to be counted? Us hicks in flyover country are really to simple minded to understand all the complicated stuff bureaucrats do, right Mitt, Orrin, Gary, Mia?
I hate to even mention these things because this just serves as a challenge to the average swamp dweller. Instead of being concerned with protecting these and other liberties, they will read this list and view it as a challenge. I can hear them now, “What great ideas, let’s start working on them.”
Hey Gary, Mia, is that Steve Bannon I see coming over here? I for one, sure hope so because I refuse to live in a swamp and frankly, I was here first.
